Youth Empowerment
Equipping the next generation with the tools, mentorship, and opportunities they need to reach their full potential and close the achievement gap.
The Challenge
In the Riverview region, the academic achievement gap begins in early childhood and widens significantly by middle school.
Without access to supplemental education and safe after-school spaces, systemic barriers prevent talented students from reaching high school graduation and post-secondary opportunities.
Our Approach
We provide wraparound, continuous academic support. Rather than single-point interventions, our Youth Empowerment pipeline engages students from early literacy milestones all the way through college and trade school applications, pairing rigorous tutoring with dedicated mentorship.
Core Programs
After-School Tutoring
Daily sessions focusing on reading comprehension, mathematics, and science. We maintain a 4:1 student-to-tutor ratio to ensure personalized academic intervention.
College Prep & Mentorship
Guiding high school juniors and seniors through college applications, FAFSA completion, vocational training enrollment, and interview preparation.on-one coaching to help families navigate debt remediation, build emergency savings, understand credit scores, and access public benefits they are eligible for.
Summer Literacy
An intensive 8-week summer bridging program designed to prevent the "summer slide" and keep elementary students engaged through project-based learning.
